Last summer, we crowdfunded a rescue dig at Caerfai – one of the largest clifftop hillforts in Pembrokeshire, which is slowly collapsing into the sea.
The story behind this incredible Iron Age monument was in danger of being lost forever, but thanks to the dig and everyone who supported it, we were able to recover important new details about the people who built it, and what they were really doing here.
Our discoveries will feature in Episode 6, and we hope that you’ll watch along and enjoy learning about our discoveries as much as Alice did.
We are truly grateful to all our subscribers and everyone who crowdfunded the dig or took part – your support made it possible to uncover Caerfai’s story and share it with the world.
In the meantime, you can find out more about the story behind the dig, or even how you can join our next crowdfunded dig to unearth another major prehistoric monument.
