Venturer of the Week: John Cooper

John Cooper feature imageVenturer of the Week – John Cooper

‘I’m coming back for my third year of DigVentures because it is the best way for me to work with experts and know they will engage well at all skill levels. That way – and making it fun – I have learned so much in such a short time.

I thought they couldn’t improve on Flag Fen, but Leiston Abbey not only had even better weather but the mix of archaeology was great to work on. And on top of that you meet really interesting people from all around the world and drink beer after work in unusual places! It is a great opportunity to continue the dig at Leiston, and this time I am doing two weeks –  one is not enough!’
