Sue Hallam

Sue tells us why she decided to join us this year at Leiston… it’s in the blood

“I’ve always been a history buff, but only an armchair archaeologist. I have followed Time Team from the very beginning (the first one was in my neck of the woods) but never took it further, until now. I think I discovered DigVentures from the BBC website last year and kept tabs on what would happen this year. I have family ties way back when with this part of Suffolk as my mother’s side come from Middleton, just down the road from Leiston, so I just had to get involved…My friends think I’m mad but aren’t at all surprised.

I am looking forward to getting my hands dirty…  it’ll be a big change from my day job – nursing!”

Thanks Sue, it will be fantastic to connect to your Suffolk roots at Leiston.
