Finn Einar Steen

Our first Scandinavian Venturer, Finn, tells us why he decided to join the DigVentures team this summer

“Being a fan of Time Team for several years, I “liked” a Time Team page on facebook. There I saw a link to Raksha Dave’s blog, where I ended up signing up for the dig. This is such a great opportunity to be part of something big! And maybe meet some new friends as well.

I’m 43 and live and work in Oslo. I work with the schools owned by the city of Oslo, some 180 primary, secondary and upper secondary schools.  Here I take care of artwork, sculptures, paintings, etc. I also work with universal design, making buildings and outdoor areas accessible to all. I hold a bachelors degree in Art and Management and study history part-time as well. So far I have done a year and a half worth of history studies.

Looking forward to  seeing you in July!”

Thanks Finn, we look forward to seeing you on site this summer too.
