I’m an archaeologist working in Somerset and also a part-time PhD student at Cardiff University, where I study past environmental conditions in the Outer Hebrides.
I wanted to support Dig Ventures and the Flag Fen Lives campaign because I think there’s an urgent need to record and preserve as much of the surviving prehistory of the site as possible before it is lost forever due to changes in the water table.
I was very happy that Dig Ventures gave me an opportunity to make a modest contribution to support work that I think is very important.
