We here at DigVentures caught on to the potential of crowdfunding almost immediately. As early adopters, we knew it was an absolute slam-dunk in terms of reaching new audiences, involving the public, and financing archaeology. We’ve had our successes, and we’ve cheered from the sidelines as other archaeology and heritage projects had a go at it too. We believe that crowdfunding is here to stay – and it will certainly always form a part of the work that we do.
