It’s a common misconception that the rain in Spain falls mainly on the plain. In fact that’s a lie. The rain in Spain falls mainly in England. Thanks a million Amigos!
Not to worry. As you can see from the photos below, we at DV are of the mindset that every silver lining has a cloud! Erm…wait…maybe it’s the other way around…whatever!
What we mean to say is that if life throws us puddles, we’ll chuck a rubber ducky in there and make the most of it.
This year’s outstandingly inclement weather is giving us all unfortunate ponderings on the state of our camping plans, and the possibility to actually do the archaeology. But never fear! What’s bad for the archaeologists, is actually great for the archaeology! We have contingencies in place for our field school, so it will be impossible to leave without learning something.
Please remember to pack good waterproofs, wellies or waterproof footwear, extra dry clothing, a towel and your best ‘Keep Calm and Carry On’ spirit!
