Francis hits the airwaves

On Tuesday 10th April, 10pm, Francis Pryor will feature on Radio 3’s Nightwaves programme, for an in-depth discussion about the Flag Fen landscape and life in the Bronze Age.

We’re really looking forward to the show, exploring what the Bronze Age can teach us about our contemporary surroundings.

Francis writes: “I’m aware that Radio 3 (sadly) isn’t what most people listen to today, but it’s so hard to find a broadcaster that will give time to consider serious subjects with any care. It’s impossible to discuss evolving ideas of identity in bubbly sound-bites.” We couldn’t agree more – perhaps what we really need is an archaeology pirate radio station!?!

Hmmn. Watch this space…
