Venturer of the Week: Val Mayhew
Val is one of our fab Day Digger Venturers. Why is she joining us? Like so many people we’ve met, Val tells us that archaeology is something she has always wanted to do. She also had the opportunity once to stay in Abbey House, at Leiston Abbey, for a week with a school group and can’t wait to come back and dig the site. Says Val: “The opportunity to join you at Leiston is fantastic. I spent a week in Abbey House with a school party and loved the atmosphere ( and food!!).”
