This talk was given at DigNation ’18, a crowdfunded festival organised by DigVentures and Sir Tony Robinson in honour of beloved Time Team archaeologist Mick Aston.

In 2018, DigVentures and Tony Robinson joined forces with Time Team fans all over the world to launch DigNation – a brand new festival for archaeology lovers, inspired by Britain’s most beloved TV archaeologist, Mick Aston.

In his opening talk, Tony shared some of his best memories of Mick Aston, and the 20 years they spent together on Time Team. Other speakers included Helen Geake, Francis Pryor, Carenza Lewis, Phil Harding, and many more.
